RPTH Editor’s Awards recognize three early career researchers

Research and Practice in Thrombosis and Haemostasis (RPTH), the open access journal of the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), announces the recipients of its 2025 RPTH Editor’s Awards. The awards honor three early career researchers whose submitted articles stand out for their excellence and impact.

The 2025 RPTH Editor’s Awards recipients are as follows:

“The RPTH Editor’s Awards highlight the outstanding research being conducted by early career researchers in the field, and this year’s recipients have truly set a high standard,” said Michael Makris, M.D., RPTH Editor-in-Chief. “Their contributions not only advance scientific understanding, but they also strengthen the overall mission of RPTH to foster excellence and accessibility in research.”

A jury of RPTH editors reviews and selects the recipients, who receive a travel grant and complimentary registration to an ISTH Congress.

To be eligible, candidates must be the first author of a submitted article and a current ISTH member in an early career membership category at the time of submission. Interested authors may indicate their desire to be considered for the award during the manuscript submission process.
