Clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP) has been linked to cardiovascular disease, but long-term evidence is limited. In this presentation, Cynthia Carbonneau shares data from a 24-year retrospective follow-up study involving 2,050 patients undergoing coronary angiography. The study explores the prevalence of CHIP and its association with atherosclerotic burden and long-term mortality, offering new insight into cardiovascular risk profiling.
