The ISTH, EHA, EAHAD and ESO publishes clinical practice guideline: Antithrombotic treatment in patients with hemophilia

With cardio vascular disease increasingly emerging as a medical issue in patients with hemophilia, now achieving a near-normal lifetime expectancy and a lack of controlled studies on how to manage patients in these settings, the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), the European Hematology Association (EHA), the European Association for Haemophilia and Allied Disorders (EAHAD), and the European Stroke Organisation (ESO) have published a guidance document to provide clinical practice recommendations on antithrombotic therapy for health care providers who care for patients with hemophilia.
