ISTH announces international recipients of Esteemed Career Awards
Prestigious awards recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the thrombosis and hemostasis field The International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 ISTH Esteemed Career Awards, recognizing outstanding scientists and clinicians whose career-long accomplishments are internationally regarded as exemplary models of research and mentoring excellence. The ISTH Esteemed Career Awards are presented annually to individuals who, in the opinion of their peers, have made significant contributions to the understanding, treatment, diagnosis, research and education in the thrombosis and hemostasis field. The five recipients will be recognized at the ISTH 2025 Congress, from June 21-25, in Washington, D.C. The 2025 Esteemed Career Award recipients are as follows:
- Francoise Dignat-George (France)
- Tilman Hackeng (the Netherlands)
- James O'Donnell (Ireland)
- Suely Rezende (Brazil)
- Midori Shima (Japan)
